Round Table Discussion: Protection of Survivors and Witnesses in Sexual Violence Cases Study

Tadwein for Gender Studies held in cooperation with the Love Matters Project a round table discussion table on October 7 2020 entitled “Protection of Victims, Witnesses and Experts in Sexual Violence Cases”. The discussion was based on the results of a study conducted by Tadwein for Gender Studies on the stories of sexual abuse in Egypt which stressed on the need to work on safe spaces for girls from a legal point of view to be able to testify without fear. The discussion was attended by representatives from the government, parliament, and NGOs.
