” the story isn’t over – Acid Attacks” Campaign

An acid attack occurs when someone deliberately throws a corrosive substance, such as sulfuric acid or hydrochloric acid, at another person. The result is often severe burns, permanent scarring, blindness, and in some cases, death.

Victims suffer serious physical injuries, including disfigurement and permanent disabilities.
The emotional toll can be devastating, leading to depression, social isolation, and loss of self-esteem.
Survivors of acid attacks often struggle to access adequate medical care and legal protection.

Training on Monitoring and Evaluation Skills in Results-Based Management

Tadwein for Gender Studies organized a training course on monitoring and evaluation (M&E) skills within the framework of Results-Based Management (RBM) for a number of feminist initiatives from different governorates.

The training was held in Cairo from December 6 to 7, 2024. It aimed to enhance participants’ knowledge of the concept of monitoring and evaluation and its relationship to results-based management; distinguish between indicators and their types; identify the characteristics of good indicators; understand the importance of measuring baseline data and setting targets; and learn about data collection methods and sources.
