The project aimed to sensitize young adolescents in targeted governorates about the concept of gender and gender related issues.<\/p>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<strong>Phase 1<\/strong>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">During the first phase of the project, Tadwein for Gender Studies developed a comprehensive manual on the concept of gender highlighting the issue of gender-based violence among adolescents in Egypt. 95 youth educators in Cairo, Sohag, Assiut, and Port Said were trained on the content and use of the manual who then trained 265 adolescents on GBV.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">The outcomes of this project were discussed in a <a href=\"https:\/\/tadwein.org\/en\/a-round-table-to-discuss-the-training-manual-for-the-gender-sensitization-among-young-people-in-egypt-project\/\"><strong>round table discussion<\/strong><\/a> in April 2018.<\/p>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_video link=&#8221;https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=oao7E16QpiA&#8221;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_gallery type=&#8221;nivo&#8221;
