The study included 1,000 people from low-income urban areas in Helwan, Giza, and Qalyubia, including 750 women and 250 men, aged 18 to 60.<\/p>\n<p>Tadwein also contributed to a report on the digital gender gap and produced a short film about women\u2019s experiences using the internet. The \u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/tadwein.org\/en\/womens-rights-online-translating-access-into-empowerment\/\"><strong>study<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0 results were released in December 2016 as part of the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/6&#8243;][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;2\/3&#8243;][vc_gallery type=&#8221;nivo&#8221; interval=&#8221;3&#8243; images=&#8221;5156,5158&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221;][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/6&#8243;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tadwein for Gender Studies is a member of a multi-country network called\u00a0\u201cWomen\u2019s Rights Online\u201d.
