The main aim of the campaign was to decrease the chances of young girls being circumcised during school vacations. This campaign targeted all community members of different age groups with a special focus on women, men, youth, teachers, parents, and school children.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">The campaign activities included:<\/p>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/tadwein.org\/en\/awareness-raising-sessions-about-fgm-and-child-marriage\/\">Series of awareness-raising sessions<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Training workshops<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/tadwein.org\/en\/anti-female-genital-mutilation-healthy-convoys\/\">Health caravans<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">Educational materials containing anti-FGM messages were disseminated as well.<\/p>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tadwein for Gender Studies has launched the \u201cHarvest Season\u201d campaign during the school vacation in four governorates namely Qalubiyah, Behira, Fayoum, and Giza.
