Therefore, Tadwein called on several civil society organizations to join efforts and reform the \u201cTask Force Against FGM.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Task Force was re-established at a founding conference held on February 6, 2018, to strengthen the role of civil society and support joint efforts to end FGM.<\/p>\n<p>The Task Force aims to:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Change social beliefs about FGM and strengthen the protection of girls.<\/li>\n<li>Support legal reform, monitor the implementation of laws, and provide legal assistance.<\/li>\n<li>Promote comprehensive sexuality education and raise awareness of the risks of FGM in schools.<\/li>\n<li>Develop a rights-based approach that focuses on the rights and physical and health safety of girls and women.<\/li>\n<li>Combat the medicalization of FGM and strengthen the role of doctors and professional bodies in preventing it.<\/li>\n<li>Document the efforts and history of feminist organizations in combating FGM.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/tadwein.org\/en\/%d8%a8%d9%8a%d8%a7%d9%86-%d9%84%d8%aa%d8%a3%d8%b3%d9%8a%d8%b3-%d9%82%d9%88%d8%a9-%d8%a7%d9%84%d8%b9%d9%85%d9%84-%d8%a7%d9%84%d9%85%d9%86%d8%a7%d9%87%d8%b6%d9%87-%d9%84%d8%ae%d8%aa%d8%a7%d9%86-%d8%a7\/\">A
