On the 14th<\/sup> of June 2018, the Anti-FGM Task Force announced the organization of a conference under the name \u201cFGM is not an honor\u201d to be conducted on the 26th<\/sup> of June 2018. A number of research papers on FGM were presented and discussed. These included legal deficiencies and cultural and social challenges.<\/p>\n The first session of the conference discussed a research paper on the cumulative efforts of civil society in combating FGM and discussed the national strategies and efforts to combat FGM.
